International Youth Day will be celebrated on the island of Tavira, on the 11th and 12th of August, with the action “Towards a more sustainable world”.
The theme defined for this year by the United Nations is “Green skills for youth: towards a sustainable world”.
During these two days, among other activities, subjects such as European mobility, water, the Sustainable Development Goals, green policies for Europe, carbon reduction and zero footprint will be addressed.
The initiative is organized by the Portuguese Institute for Youth and Sports, the Municipality of Tavira, the National Youth Council and the National Federation of Youth Associations.
