Athletes from the municipality of Silves will be honored on the 2nd of September, at 21 pm, at Castelo de Silves, as part of the Municipality Day.
The homage will feature a musical moment from the AMARO Project and will highlight the practitioners of sports activities who over the last year have been crowned champions in different categories and modalities: regional sporting merit (athletics, bodyboarding, cycling/MTB, gymnastics, swimming, skating , women's volleyball, men's volleyball and chess); national sporting merit (athletics, cycling/MTB, flat track, shooting and surfing); international sporting merit (wheelchair handball and kickboxing) and international sporting merit distinction (athletics and capoeira).
