The opening ceremony of the 35th edition of the Seafood Festival, in Olhão, was attended by Duarte Cordeiro, Minister for the Environment and Climate Action, and the Secretaries of State for the Environment, Hugo Polido Pires, and for Nature Conservation and Forests, João Paulo Catarino.
On the first day, the Seafood Festival received more than five thousand people.
The main attraction on stage was David Carreira, who brought many of his musical hits to Olhão. Before that, there were circus animations.
The opening day of the event also saw the inauguration of the sculptural piece Camarão Gigante, made with recycled materials and which promises to surprise visitors to the Seafood Festival.
This Friday, the 11th, in the evening, the stage belongs to Sónia Costa with a tribute show to Tina Turner.
