Registration for the 2023/2024 season at the Lagoa Municipal Swimming Pools begins on September 1st and this year takes place online.
«Since we are taking big steps towards administrative modernization, and similarly to what has already happened with registrations in Sports Holidays, and in renovations of municipal swimming pools, registrations in municipal swimming pools will be done online through the following address», says the municipality in a note.
From the 1st of September, from 8:00 am, until the 14th of September, online registration will be open for children from 4 to 12 years old, to schedule aquatic tests (20 minutes) which will take place from the 4th of September to the 15th of September, Monday to Friday, except on the 8th of September.
Entries can be made for the morning, between 9:30 am and 12:30 pm, or for the afternoon, between 15:30 pm and 18:30 pm.
The scheduling of the aquatic test will be done by the aquatic services, according to the order in which the online registration is received.
Parents who obtain a vacancy will receive an appointment via SMS.
After making the appointment and the aquatic test, having determined the level by the competent technician, you can register in person, if there is a vacancy for the respective level, otherwise, if you choose, you can be on the waiting list.
On the 4th of September, starting at 8:00 am, online registration for the baby classes (from 9 months to 48 months) will be available.
Babies must be enrolled in the class corresponding to their age. Subsequently, the registration will be analyzed by the aquatic services and confirmed, if applicable, via SMS. If you do not get a place, you can register the baby on the waiting list, with a maximum of two classes.
On the 11th of September, from 8:00 am, registration will be available for adults and young people over 12 years old, but they will take place in person at the secretariat of the municipal swimming pools.
From the 18th of September, the swimming pools will reopen to the public, at normal hours, from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 20:00 pm, and Saturday, from 8:00 am to 13:00 pm, with the usual activities.
The Municipality warns of the fact that places are limited and the faster you submit the online application, the greater the probability of getting a place.
It should be noted that the Lagoa swimming school has been attracting more and more athletes, particularly in the last two years, where there has been an exponential increase in the number of athletes, having even been distinguished with the Quality of Excellence award.
