One gold, two silver and two bronze medals were the prizes that Portinado athletes brought back from the National Artistic Swimming Championship – Open de Portugal, which took place in Felgueiras last weekend.
Portinado was represented by a team made up of 18 athletes and three technicians, in the competition which had the participation of 214 athletes representing 10 national and 9 foreign teams.
Portinado's medals were won by Beatriz Marreiros, – 1st place in Children's Figures (Open and National) – Evelina Surguch, – 2nd place in Children's Figures (Open) – Pedro Lopes and Vitória Gaibu, – 2nd place in Children's Mixed Free Duet – Lays Lourenço, – 3rd place in Children’s Figures (National) – and 3rd place in the children’s team composed of Beatriz Marreiros, Evelina Surguch, Lays Lourenço, Matilde Pinto, Sofia Fernandes, Letícia Neascu, Sofia Barbarych, Daniela Barcaru and Maria Silvestre – Free Combined childish.
