ACRAL promotes free digital transition actions for workers in the Algarve

Trainings take place after working hours

ACRAL – Association of Commerce and Services of the Algarve Region will promote free training actions in the area of ​​digital transition, aimed at active workers in the region.

This set of training actions, which always take place after working hours (19 pm to 30 pm), result from an application by the business association to the “Emprego + Digital” project, financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), which aims to main objective to promote and boost the qualification and requalification of active workers, to endow them with skills in the digital area.

Employees from any private employer in the Algarve and from any area of ​​activity may apply, "provided they have a contractual employment/employment relationship with the company", as well as members of statutory bodies.

Social economy entities and “adults over 18 years of age, employees with academic qualifications equal to or greater than the 9th grade” are also eligible.

By participating in the training, trainees will be entitled to receive a food allowance (6,00 euros for each day of training) and also a certificate.
Actions will be available in two formats, mixed and face-to-face. The mixed format consists of a face-to-face session at ACRAL headquarters (Rua Dr. José de Matos, nº 58 A, 8000-502 Faro) and the rest online. Face-to-face format, face-to-face sessions at ACRAL headquarters.

Participation conditions:

– Have a place of work in the Algarve region;
– At the beginning of each training session, trainees must proceed with their registration in the Academia Portugal Digital portal and, at the beginning and end of the training, carry out a diagnosis of digital competences for the purposes of positioning in the held digital proficiency level (measured by the Dynamic Reference Framework for Digital Competence);
– It is the trainee's responsibility to ensure the means / computer equipment necessary to carry out the online sessions (computer with camera, speakers and internet access).
