18 people who were detained for different crimes, in the Algarve, between the 6th and 9th of July, were preventively arrested, announced today the Public Ministry.
The vast majority of those detained in custody, 14 in total, are members of the drug trafficking network. which was dismantled in São Brás de Alportel, on the 6th.
Two men were also preventively arrested, one accused of a crime of rape, in Faro, and the other indicted for the crime of domestic violence, in Olhão.
Also in custody were a man and a woman indicted for various crimes of aggravated robbery, which occurred in Portimão, Quarteira and Loulé. In the latter case, another man had also been arrested.
