During this action, situations were detected in which «the animal welfare parameters established under the terms of the law in force» were not safeguarded, according to the Chamber of Deputies. Faro.

In all, 17 dogs were inspected, «there were 28 infractions», which were mainly due to the «lack of electronic identification and, consequently, registration in the Companion Animal Information System (SIAC), lack of vaccination valid anti-rabies, as well as movement of stray animals and with a keeper, on public roads».

The authorities also collected three stray dogs, which were later sent to the Official Animal Collection center in Faro, «having the PSP of Faro administrative offense notices raised against the keepers of non-compliant animals».
