ARTIS XXI is back with the 3rd edition of the Lagoa Wind Orchestra and Percussion Stage, between the 23rd and 29th of July, with a commitment to training, exchange and cultural dissemination of music in this Algarve municipality.
At the premises of the Lagoa Conservatory of Arts, the EB 2/3 Jacinto Correia School and the Carlos do Carmo Auditorium, 60 young people from all over the country will be welcomed.
The III Stage of Orchestra de Sopros e Percussão is conducted by conductor and composer Samuel Pascoal, who will bring an original and varied repertoire for the wind orchestra, including some of his own works.
In addition to working with Samuel Pascoal, participants will have, according to Artis XXI, «the opportunity to work closely with a group of teachers and musicians of regional and national reference, perfecting instrumental techniques and enhancing their musical growth, individually and collective".
Participants will also be entitled to socializing moments and a fun day at the Slide & Splash water park.
The end of the internship is marked with the usual concert on the beach in Carvoeiro, where the young musicians will demonstrate the work developed throughout the week.
