“Algarve Craft & Food” comes to an end with 20 new creative tourism programs

The event is integrated into Handsome

The official closing of the “Algarve Craft & Food” project will take place this Friday, June 23, at 16 pm, at the Museu Regional de Faro, which will provide an overview of three years of activity around the cultural and creative industries- 

The Algarve Craft & Food project ends this year, leaving behind 20 new creative tourism programs, a collection of 13 pieces for catering or to use at home, a promotional video and a brochure on arts and crafts in the Algarve.

In addition to presenting the results of the project, prizes will be awarded to the winners of the best reportage and of the best products and tourist programs created within the scope of the “Algarve Craft & Food Awards”.

The event is part of the Handsome – International Festival of Creative Tourism of the Algarve, an initiative of the Algarve Craft & Food project promoted by the Algarve Tourism Board, Tertúlia Algarvia and the QRER cooperative, with co-financing from CRESC Algarve 2020.

16:30 pm: Welcome session (RTA)

16:45 pm: Project balance sheet (Tertúlia Algarvia and QRER)

17:15 pm: Algarve Craft & Food Awards Ceremony

17:30: Creative conversation «Creative Tourism in the Algarve: the perspective of the protagonists» (Alexandra Santos, designer, Lilia Lopes, ceramist, chefs Bruno Viegas and Alexandra Caetano. Moderation: Marco Lopes, director of the Regional Museum of the Algarve)

18:15 pm: Closing with musical animation
