14 people aged between 16 and 39 arrested in Albufeira

In actions to combat crime carried out between the 7th and 12th of June

Actions to combat crime carried out in the municipality of Albufeira, between the 7th and 12th of June, resulted in the arrest of 14 people between the ages of 16 and 39. 

Of these arrests, nine were for drug trafficking, tres for injuriesuas for driving under the influence of alcohol.

The action also aimed at preventing drug use, which resulted in the identification of 20 people and the seizure of 90 doses of cocaine, 67 doses of amphetamines, 95 doses of hashish, two doses of heroin, one dose of marijuana, 532 euros in cash and a mobile phone.

As part of a road inspection operation, which had the support of the Traffic Detachment of Faro, the GNR also highlights 38 records for road violations involving TVDE vehicles. "The military detected in one of the approaches seven bottles of nitrous oxide, which were seized and the respective administrative offense notice was drawn up for the 25-year-old man". 

The facts were referred to the Judicial Court of Albufeira.

By carrying out these actions, the National Republican Guard says it intends to "fight crime and strengthen the population's sense of security".
