The typical gastronomy of Serra do Caldeirão, made with local products and following «the standards of the Mediterranean Diet» once again has a special place in a dozen restaurants in São Brás de Alportel, starting today, Tuesday, and until the following day April 16th.
In 2023, the Gastronomic Fortnight “Sabores do Caldeirão” will feature the restaurants “4 à mesa”, Brilhafigura, Cantinho da Lili, Sabores do Campo, Sal da Serra, Tachinho da Avó Luísa, The Owl and Ysconderijo.
The restaurants participating in this initiative by the municipality of São Brás de Alportel «present special menus inspired by this time of year, which respect the standards of the Mediterranean Diet and cultural traditions».
By having meals at these participating restaurants until April 16, «customers qualify to win meal vouchers that will be drawn by each of the participating restaurants».
The Gastronomic Quinzena “Sabores do Caldeirão” is a tourist promotion initiative organized by the Municipality of São Brás de Alportel with the collaboration of local restaurants and its main objective is to boost the local economy and promote and value the typical gastronomy of the Algarve.
