The 7th edition of the Lagoa Water Polo Tournament, which will take place in the municipality's municipal swimming pools, on the 4th of February, will bring together close to 90 athletes, divided into three levels: mixed under-14, under-16 and men's absolute.
In this tournament, federated and non-federated athletes between 12 and 40 years old can participate.
As part of the Sports Program of Lagoa, and the Water Polo Development Plan, this event is organized by the Municipality of Lagoa, in partnership with Lagoa Académico Clube, and aims to «provide athletes with a greater competitive rhythm in the initial phase of the season sport and encourage the promotion and dissemination of the sport in the municipality and region».
The Municipality of Lagoa also intends to promote the practice of physical activity in an environment of fraternization and sharing of experiences among participants, mobilizing sports associations and community participation.
On the 4th of February, at 13:00 pm, the participating teams are welcomed, at 13:30 pm the tournament begins and at 19:00 pm the games end.
Prize giving takes place at 19:15 pm, with the tournament ending at 19:30 pm.
