The five-star Algarve resort Dunas Douradas Beach Club was honored at the World Travel Awards in the category of World's Leading Golf & Villa Resort, last Friday.
In the European edition of tourism, the Dunas Douradas Beach Club resort won in the categories of Portugal's Leading Villa and Europe's Leading Villa and now it was the turn to triumph in the category of World's Leading Golf & Villa Resort in the World Grand Final.
«This year's prizes have a special value. It was a year of antagonistic polarities that demanded an increased effort from the entire fixed structure of the resort, because if on the one hand 2022 had occupancy rates in many months higher than those of 2019, the worrying shortage of human resources to work on the most varied fronts of the hotel activity forced everyone to work extra hard. That is why all the recognition of our merit and quality is one more point in the motivation of my entire team», said Sílvia Biscaia, general manager of Aldeamento Dunas Douradas Beach Club, stressing that these awards are the recognition of the hard work of its entire team focused solely and exclusively on the constant search for improving the guest experience.
For the General Manager, the main reason for this distinction is centered on the excellent location of the village, made up of 140 luxurious accommodation units, where comfort, sophistication and security form a winning triumvirate.
The World Travel Awards, created in 1993 with the aim of annually recognizing and rewarding the best in the tourism, travel and hospitality industry, have established themselves as an important milestone in the international panorama of the tourism sector.
