The António Ramos Rosa Municipal Library was inaugurated in 2001, in the current António Ramos Rosa building, however, the genesis of the Municipal Library of Faro dates back to November 13, 1902.
To mark the 120th anniversary of the foundation, on Monday, the 14th, at 18:00 pm, Patrícia de Jesus Palma will deliver a lecture in honor of the public service that the Library has been providing throughout this time.
Until the 30th of November, the exhibition commemorating its 120th anniversary will be on display in the lobby of the Library, with information researched and organized by the Municipal Library and Archive of Faro.
