Last Thursday, October 6th, the IV Concert Cycle “Artis XXI” had shows for seniors and young people from Lagoa.
The shows took place at the Senior Center of Mexilhoeira da Carregação, at Santa Casa da Misericórdia in Estômbar and at the Igreja Matriz de Lagoa for the Centro Popular de Lagoa and ESPAMOL – Padre António Martins de Oliveira Secondary School.
The objective of this initiative is to bring music to those who have limited mobility, contributing to the decentralization of culture in the territory of Lagoa. The bet on the most in the youngest, as has been happening in previous editions, is also one of the axes of Artis XXI.
The IV Artis XXI Cycle runs until the 28th of October, in churches in the municipality of Lagoa and in Ermida da Guadalupe (a space integrated in the DiVaM program promoted by the Regional Directorate for Culture of the Algarve).
This is an event produced by Artis XXI, supported by the Municipality of Lagoa, Directorate-General for the Arts, Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve, Folefest and Festa da Música – Musical Instruments, in partnership with Folefest.
The artistic direction is in charge of Elsa Mathei and the production direction by Rute Gomes.
