With lots of warnings about climate change and no waste: this was the freshman parade

Hundreds of students walked the streets of Faro this Tuesday

“There is no planet B”, “Who wastes is garbage” and “For a better future” were just some of the phrases displayed by the freshmen in the parade that this year wanted to warn about climate change.

No food waste, less mess and no traditional bath, given by an auto-tank of the Fire Brigade of Faro, hundreds of students once again roamed the streets of Faro this Tuesday, September 27, from Campus da Penha to Largo de São Francisco, to celebrate the beginning of another school year.

The Freshman Reception celebrations began on the 21st of September and end on Thursday, the 29th of September.

This night takes place on the Walls of Faro the contest “Miss e Mister Caloiro” and a concert by Fluxo Funk.
