The festivities in honor of Nossa Senhora da Encarnação are back in Lagoa, on the 27th and 28th of August, with religious celebrations and lots of music.
The events take place in the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Encarnação and Praia do Carvoeiro and are promoted by the Municipality of Lagoa, Union of Parishes of Lagoa and Carvoeiro and the Parish of Lagoa.
The cultural program on the 27th starts at 20:00, with the Carvoeiro Beach Party, in the Largo and sandy beach of Praia do Carvoeiro. That night, the poster features Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, ChristianF, DJ Just and DJ Alexandre Ramos.
On the 28th, Largo da Praia do Carvoeiro will host the Grupo de Cantares do Parchal (21:30), the show with Pedro Migueis “Tributo a Carlos Paião” + guest (22:39) and Fireworks (23:45).
The religious program includes a Eucharist at 17:3 pm, on Saturday, and a solemn Eucharist followed by a procession with the participation of the Silves Philharmonic Band and Fanfare of Agrupamento 511, on the 28th, at 18:30 pm.
