The proposal can be consulted here

During the public consultation period, interested parties will be able to send suggestions that they consider relevant within the scope of this project.

AMAL, as the Intermunicipal Transport Authority, is responsible for planning, defining and approving transport titles and tariffs and the specific rules relating to the tariff system.

According to AMAL, PART «encourages the change in mobility patterns, with the migration of the use of individual transport to public transport, thus contributing to a more sustainable mobility and responding to the growing consequences of climate change».

Thus, «it becomes necessary to define the specific rules for the application of the PART in the region, with the creation of a Regulation that establishes the conditions under which this support is granted, through a subsidizing mechanism for the population that makes regular trips in the Algarve» .

The proposed regulation is also available for consultation, at AMAL services, at Rua General Humberto Delgado, n.º 20, at Faro, during normal business hours (9:30-12:30 and 14:00-16:00).
