In Albufeira, Children's Day is celebrated in an "Enchanted Valley"

Program takes place in Parque do Ribeiro and in the Municipal Library Lídia Jorge, from the 30th of May to the 4th of June

This year, from May 30th to June 4th, World Children's Day will be celebrated in Albufeira under the motto “Vale Encantado”.

Although the day is marked on the 1st of June, the program takes place for six days at Parque do Ribeiro and at the Lídia Jorge Municipal Library, with free admission subject to registration.

From the 30th of May to the 3rd of June, between 9:00 am and 16:00 pm, children can enjoy several free amusements at Parque Ribeiro. However, the activities are not just for the youngest.

Also thinking about those responsible, there is the “Espaço Família”, which adults can enjoy from 17:00 to 20:00. This will be a space that will have some dance and circus arts performances so that parents and children can have fun together.

On the 30th of May, at 17:00, the “Dance for Peace” of the “Ser” Project will be presented. On the 31st, at 18:00, parents can watch the show “Heroes of Emotions and Circus Arts – IEFP”.

The 1st of June will have the construction of nests by VitaNativa at 17:00, followed by a FitMove class with Cátia Estrelo, at 18:00.

On the 2nd, at 18:45, there is a Zumba class with instructor Martina and on the 3rd, at 19:30, those present will be able to watch the presentation of the dance group SOUL.

Finally, on June 4th, the program will run from 10 am to 00 pm, with the musical “Vaiana” and a dance show by LUEL. Also in Parque do Ribeiro, the “Trocólivro” will also be available, a fair for exchanging used children's books together with the Atelier “Mesa dos Sabores”, with a Mediterranean diet.

At the Lídia Jorge Municipal Library, activities will take place from June 1st to 4th, and feature animated readings or puppet laboratory theater with Alexandra Tavares and Fátima Mártires, “Pinto, Pingas e Companhia”.
