The Algarve will have a regional beach football championship starting this season. The competition will take place in the months of June and July.
The announcement was made this Thursday, March 24, by the Algarve Football Association (AFA) that will organize the competition.
The winner of this regional phase will then compete in the national phase, in August.
According to the AFA, «the competitive patterns of the regional phase will depend on the number of teams registered».
All teams that want to participate in the competition, affiliated or not affiliated to the Algarve Football Association, can obtain more information about the beach football modality in the region by emailing [email protected].
