An earthquake of magnitude 3.6 (Richter) was recorded late in the morning of this Friday, 11 February, with an epicenter about 80 kilometers south of Cabo de S. Vicente. This was the second earthquake recorded today in that area.
According to the IPMA, until the communiqué was prepared, "no information was received, confirming that this earthquake was felt".

Also this Friday, but at 7:53 am, there was an earthquake of similar magnitude (3.8), recorded in the same location. This shock was felt in Lagos, Portimão and Lagoa.
