The 3.8 magnitude earthquake (Richter), registered on the morning of this Friday, February 11th, with an epicenter about 80 kilometers south of Cabo de S. Vicente, was felt in the municipalities of Lagos, Portimão and Lagoa.
According to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA), the quake was felt «with maximum intensity III/IV (modified Mercalli scale) in the municipalities of Lagoa and Portimão».
It was also felt «with less intensity in the municipality of Lagos».
