AF Algarve signs protocol with its counterpart in São Nicolau (Cape Verde)

The Algarve Football Association (AFA) and the São Nicolau Regional Football Association (ARFSN), from Cape Verde, signed, this Tuesday, February 1, a protocol aimed at sharing experiences, good practices and exchanges. .

Among other activities, the collaboration includes the development of initiatives, studies and projects to promote the practice of physical and sports activities, with a particular focus on training and qualification of sports agents, from athletes to managers.

Added to this is the assessment of the strengthening of mechanisms and conditions for participation in sporting events abroad, with particular emphasis on the mobility agreement between Cape Verde and Europe, support in the organization of federated clubs in Cape Verde, in particular São Nicolau, in strengthening its skills, knowledge, materials and infrastructure to support football practice, or supporting ARFSN in the implementation of the Annual Activities Plan.

For Carlos Vieira, «this partnership will be very important for the growth of football in São Nicolau».

«This is a great support from the Algarve Football Association and we hope that we can, from now on, have a good exchange of ideas with the Algarve», said the president of the ARFSN Board.
