The VII Meeting of the Algarve Archives takes place on the 22nd of October, in Albufeira. The main theme is “Pademic Times: What Challenges for Archives?”.
This meeting aims to encourage the exchange of experiences, issues and knowledge among professionals in the areas of information management.
Speakers will integrate four panels: “Reinventing Archives”, “Online Archives and the Value of Information”, “Safeguarding the Past” and “Looking to the Future”.
In addition to the communications, there will also be a round table with guests: José Apolinário (chairman of the Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission), Nuno Ribeiro (University of Algarve), Paula Meireles (Portuguese Association of Librarians, Archivists and Documentalists) and Paulo Lourenço (General Directorate of Books, Archives and Libraries).
