Portimão has “Sardinha em Concerto” with Portuguese musicians in the riverside

To evoke the Sardine Festival, which has yet to return in full due to the pandemic

Portimão will distribute “Sardinha em Concerto” and take Resistance, Toy, João Pedro Pais, Gisela João and Miguel Araújo to the riverside area, between the 4th and 8th of August, in that order. Shows start at 21 pm.

This event aims to evoke the Sardine Festival, at a time when the Covid-19 pandemic "still does not allow for the full return" of this festival.

«This musical initiative takes place precisely in the first week of August, when the popular gastronomic event usually takes place, which attracts thousands of connoisseurs of good grilled sardines to the city, dripping on bread, which can be enjoyed before concerts in anyone. of the various restaurants located on the riverside of Portimão», according to the Portimão Chamber, which organizes the “Sardinha em Concerto”.

The shows will comply with strict sanitary and operating rules.

"With the opening of the doors scheduled for 20:00, only spectators with a minimum age of 6 years can enter the enclosure, fenced and with a seated audience, and food or drinks are not allowed in this place, as defined by the rules of the Inspection- General of Cultural Activities and the General Directorate of Health», framed the municipality.

Tickets for the shows have the symbolic value of one euro and must be purchased from this Friday, July 30th, online or at the ticket offices of TEMPO – Municipal Theater of Portimão (Tuesday to Saturday, from 13 pm to 00 pm ) and the Museum of Portimão, in this case on July 18 and 00, (30:31 to 10:00), August 18, 00 to 1 (4:8 to 15:00) or August 23 (00:3 to 19:30).
