The Municipality of Aljezur will support the execution of works to change and expand the headquarters of Juventude Clube Aljezurense and to create a Service Area for Motorhomes next to the facilities of Grupo Desportivo Odeceixense.
These are the “two important works” that the municipality proposed to finance, as they are “important for the life of these clubs, their members and the local community”.
In the case of Juventude Clube Aljezurense, the City Council will support 100% of the work to change and expand the headquarters of the community, with a value of 131.954 euros. To this amount is added that of the architecture and specialties project (1538 euros), also paid by the municipality.
In 2019, on the occasion of the XNUMXth anniversary of the club, the municipality of Aljezurense committed to supporting the intervention of the building, taking into account its degradation and lack of conditions for its functioning.
In this way, improvements will be made, “so that the club can once again receive its members and athletes at its headquarters”.
In Odeceixe, the local Sports Group Aljezur City Council will provide the 55 thousand euros necessary for the installation of a Service Area for Motorhomes, but also the 7500 euros of the project.
"This is an important investment in the creation of a very necessary equipment for the parish and for the region", believes the Chamber, which seeks, with this partnership, "to create conditions to accommodate the motorhomes, which will be able to stay overnight in this space in a legal and with the necessary conditions for this purpose'.
