The Mills and Cerca da Rita Routes, walks around Alferce Castle, by the waterfalls or by Fóia. O Monchique Hiking Festival, an «initiative that is a breath of fresh air», has registrations open until June 2nd.
The theme of this new festival, which has its first edition from the 10th to the 13th of June, will be water, an omnipresent element in the landscape and experiences in the Monchique mountains.
The various hikes are already defined and there are for all tastes and difficulties, from the easiest and shortest to the most difficult and longest.
According to the Municipality of Monchique, "the norms of the General Directorate of Health in force for the prevention of the transmission of Covid-19 must be followed and the specific guidelines given by the person in charge of the activity must be complied with."
All activities require mandatory registration until the 2nd of June.

The minimum number of participants is 5 and the maximum is 15.
