Portugal no longer has representatives at the Vale do Lobo Open II Magnesium-K Active, after Portuguese tennis players Pedro Araújo and Francisco Cabral were eliminated today, Friday, in the competition's quarter-finals.

Two weeks after reaching the quarter-finals of a $25 tournament for the first time, Pedro Araújo (1154th in the ATP ranking) was looking for the first semi-finals but failed to surprise German Sebastian Fanselow (435th), who lives and trains in Lisbon, with whom he lost 6-2 and 7-6(4), after 1h45 of the game.
