Applications for the Open Innovation in Tourism Program – innovative solutions to real problems are open until December 20, with the program limited to 12 places for startups and companies.
Linking UP is an Open Innovation Program in the Tourism sector, promoted by the Creative Territories and by Turismo de Portugal, in partnership with ISEG Lisboa, IDC and Gastão Cunha Ferreira.
Linking Up aims to support startups in the development of innovative solutions to increase the competitiveness of companies.
This program is intended to support startups, being developed in partnership with companies in the tourism sector and focused on solving concrete problems of these companies.
intend to support startups that present B2B solutions for companies in the Tourism sector and that respond to the following challenges: Sustainable solutions; Better data and insights; Experiences seamless pattern; Digital solutions.
The program will feature the masterclasses “Leading the Digital Transformation” and “Innovation Processes in Tourism”, promoted by the consultancy IDC and by ISEG Lisbon, respectively, training sessions for selected companies.
As startups selected will also have Startup Morning Sessions, taking place at ISEG Lisbon, with various themes, such as “Management of Change”, “Open Innovation”, “Finance and Financing” and “How to make a Pitch”, promoted by the Creative Territories; “Digital Solutions and Online Presence” and “Positioning”, promoted by ISEG Lisbon; and “Applied Digital Transformation” and “Product Innovation and Technological Roadmap”, promoted by IDC.
Each startup selected will have allocated a mentor from the Creative Territories team, as well as a mentor from the IDC consultancy and a representative from the partner company. Mentors will be invited to participate, taking into account their expertise, after selecting the solutions presented by the startups.
