Minister Manuel Heitor will be in Olhão tomorrow, for the closing session of the celebrations of the 25th anniversary of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education, scheduled for the Mariano Gago Municipal Library, at 11:00 am.
The “Science & Knowledge” book collection will be presented at the meeting, during which minister Manuel Heitor will talk with the teachers and directors of the School Groups present and with the directors of the Ciência Viva Centres.
This will also be «an opportunity to discuss Education and Scientific Culture in the Algarve».
In addition to Manuel Heitor, the event will be attended by António Pina, mayor of Olhão and AMAL – Algarve Intermunicipal Community, Paulo Águas, rector of the University of Algarve, Nuno Marques, president of the Algarve Biomedical Center, and the researcher and deputy Alexandre Quintanilha.
