Two women arrested who robbed men they seduced for sex

In one of these situations, the defendant threatened a man with death if he filed a complaint

Two women, residing in the Algarve and suspected of having convinced two men to have sex in exchange for money, ending up stealing their bank cards, were arrested, the Public Ministry announced this Wednesday, 14 October. 

According to the MP, these women, aged 25 and 32, were detained for various crimes, such as robbery, offense to simple physical integrity, aggravated coercion in an attempted manner, computer and communications fraud, theft and illegitimate appropriation.

The facts took place between December 2019 and July this year, with suspicions that one of the defendants, on two different occasions (in one of the situations together with the other), "has convinced two men to have sex for money", tell the authorities.

Then, using violence, one of the women took the victims' money and bank cards, then making cash withdrawals and shopping at commercial establishments.

In one of these situations, the defendant threatened a man with death if he filed a complaint.

Present for judicial interrogation, one of the defendants was in preventive detention and the other subject to the obligation to present herself three times a week at the Criminal Police body in her area of ​​residence, as well as being prohibited from going abroad and contacting, for any way, with the victim.

The inquiry is directed by the MP of the specialized section of Portimão of DIAP, assisted by the PSP (Portimão).
