Cultural spaces in Loulé receive the “Clean & Safe” seal

The aim is to "strengthen the confidence of cultural consumers in the context of a pandemic"

The cultural facilities of the municipality of Loulé, which have municipal management, received the “Clean & Safe” seal, given by Turismo de Portugal, announced this Saturday, 5 September, the Câmara de Loulé.

The aim is "to strengthen the confidence of cultural consumers in the context of a pandemic, at a time when activities are beginning to return to their usual dynamics".

Valid until April 30th of next year, this seal granted by Turismo de Portugal guarantees users and visitors the safety of spaces and services against the Covid-19 pandemic.

Thus, this seal was awarded to the Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen Municipal Library and its centers in Alte, Quarteira and Salir, as well as to its traveling center, the Municipal Museum of Loulé and its centers – Museum Center for Traditional Cuisine, Museum Center dos Frutos Secos, Cândido Guerreiro and Condes de Alte Museum Center, Salir Museum Center, Água de Querença Museum Center, Nossa Senhora da Conceição Chapel, Duarte Pacheco Memory House and Santo António Convent -, Gama Lobo Palace, Art Gallery Convento Espírito Santo, Praça do Mar Art Gallery, CECAL – Artistic Creation Experimentation Center of Loulé, Cineteatro Louletano and Auditorium of Solar da Música Nova.

In the case of these last two spaces, the stamp is valid until May 30th of the next year.

«By bearing this seal, these equipments undertake to comply with the hygiene and safety requirements of visitors and employees defined in accordance with the guidelines of the General Directorate of Health and which also fit into the Contingency Plan of the Municipality of Loulé, as it is the case of the obligatory use of mask, frequent cleaning of spaces, the reduction of the capacity and the obligatory distance», concludes the Câmara de Loulé.
