This Saturday, the 30th, the Quarteira Lifeguard Station assisted five people, including four children aged between 9 and 13, who had entered a water pipe on Quarteira beach, next to the Hotel D. José.
Alerted to the situation, the elements of Salva-vidas managed to collect the five people, who were then safely transported to the beach, where they stayed with their families.
Victims did not need medical assistance.
