Parliament votes tomorrow to renew the State of Emergency

Three Government diplomas will also be debated and voted on in the fight against the pandemic

The Assembly of the Republic will debate and vote this Thursday, April 2, the renewal of the State of Emergency due to the Covid-19 pandemic and three government diplomas in the scope of combating the outbreak.

According to socialist Maria da Luz Rosinha, spokesperson for the conference of leaders, it was decided "by a majority" that all bills and resolutions of the parties - "about a hundred initiatives" - also related to the pandemic of Covid-19 were scheduled for a new plenary on the 8th.

The conference of leaders set yet another plenary for April 16, which may decide a new extension of the State of Emergency.
