Águas do Algarve shows what it does in three days with its doors open

The population will be able to visit different infrastructures in Águas do Algarve from the 24th to the 26th of March

Águas do Algarve invites the population to get to know some of the infrastructure it manages between the 24th and 26th of March.

The company responsible for water supply and sewage treatment in the Algarve will have three open days, during which it will give all interested parties the opportunity to visit the Tavira Water Treatment Plant (24th, 10:00am and 15:00pm), the Odelouca Dam (25th, 10:00am) and the Waste Water Treatment Plants in Albufeira Poente (25th, 15:00h) and Almargem (26th, 10:00h).

This initiative takes place within the scope of the World Water Day commemorations, which is celebrated on March 22nd.

Águas do Algarve employees will show «the path from water collection to the various water treatment processes, with analyzes in our laboratories to guarantee the same water quality», as well as what happens «after all water discharges. Water".
