The school material kits and card books that the Câmara de Tavira will offer to all 1st Cycle students in the municipality will be distributed on the 12th and 13th, between 09:30 am and 17:00 pm, in the arcades of the Paços do Concelho.
In all, 950 sets will be delivered, which cost the municipality close to 60 euros.
"In addition to this aid, all Pre-school and 1st Cycle classrooms will also receive wear material for the new school year, which will be delivered to the respective school units," according to the Câmara de Tavira.
With this measure, the Tavirense autarchy aims to «bet on the quality of education and support the families in the municipality that, at the beginning of each school year, face increased expenses».
