“Sou Quarteira” Movement promotes an exhibition and launches a book about the heroes of this parish

There will also be a music festival, as well as the premiere of a documentary

The exhibition “Heróis” will open next Sunday, August 11th, at 19:30 pm, in the streets of the city of Quarteira. At this time, a book will also be released on this initiative, in a session that will take place at the Parish Council.

imagined by social and cultural movement I'm Quarteira, in partnership with photographer Mike Correia, the exhibition “Heróis”, transversal to any position, ethnicity and religious belief, brings together 15 personalities from Quarteira who have marked generations of people who are today around the world, but who have never forgotten those who taught them. what was empathy, courage, education, seriousness and persistence.

In this project, the celebration of the most positive values ​​is personified by a group of notables who never let down their arms and knew how to look at boys and girls with the understanding and dedication they deserved.

“They are our Heroes who will be celebrated through the open air exhibition and the launch of a book”, says the organization.

The social and cultural movement I'm Quarteira seeks to affirm Quarteira's identity in its entirety – geographical, cultural, social and economic -, seeking to show the diversity of cultural and social experiences that value the city, in addition to the beach and hotel tourism industry.

In partnership with the Municipality of Loulé, the social and cultural movement I'm Quarteira it also holds a Music Festival that takes place on August 16th and 17th, at Passeio das Dunas, as well as a documentary, with a preview scheduled for the Festival.
