“Photographic Narratives” is the theme of the July get-together at the Albufeira Historical Archive, moderated by photographer Rui Carvalho. The session is scheduled for the 19th of July, at the Cultural Extension Space of the Historical Archive, at Rua João Bailote, nº 9, at 21 pm.
In this get-together «the intention is to reflect on photography through everyday experiences and visual readings, experienced by the photographer in the most diverse contexts. An attempt will also be made to explain photography as a form of expression and communication, through aesthetic and graphic framing, to recount lived realities, as an example of his photographic work developed in Timor-Leste», explains the Albufeira Historical Archive.
At the end of the gathering, the winners will be announced, certificates of participation and prizes related to the Photographic Marathon “From Memory to Future”, which took place on June 9, International Day of the Archives.
