Advance Management Program in the Algarve on the Tourism sector

Strategic management, marketing, company finance and leadership, and team management are the topics to be analyzed

On the 27th, 28th and 29th of May, in Vilamoura, Santander is promoting its first Advance Management Program in the Algarve, which will have Tourism as its central theme, and in which around 35 companies in the region linked to the sector will participate. The opening session will be attended by the president of the Algarve Tourism Region, João Fernandes.

The program was designed in partnership with ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics & Management, and an intensive training plan was drawn up to provide entrepreneurs and managers with the practical tools and knowledge necessary to support them in the growth of their businesses.

Over the three days, the following topics will be analyzed: strategic management, marketing, company finance and leadership, and team management.

Tourism will be highlighted with the analysis of critical factors and competencies for business in this sector of activity. The approach will be very practical using case studies and sharing participants' personal and professional experiences.

Coordinated by Helena Amaral Neto (Professor of Finance at ISEG; Master in Finance from City University; Coordinator of the Executive Courses Luxury Brand Management, Luxury Real Estate Sales Management and Luxury Tourism Management), the initiative will feature Luís Nazaré (ISEG), who will speak on Strategy and Forward Thinking, João Duque (ISEG), who will address the issue of Finance and Analytical Mindset, Nuno Madeira (Turismo de Portugal), who will speak about Marketing, and also João Pargana (ISEG), who will be in charge the theme of Leadership and Team Management.
