The Parish Union of Faro Starting this year, it will implement the use of reusable eco-cups at all its events.
Under the motto "Together for a more environmentally friendly Parish", "the aim is to change habits and reduce the amount of plastic waste, especially disposable cups generated, thus developing environmental responsibility policies and contributing to the sustainability of the planet", he explains the autarchy.
For this, the drinks will be served in reusable cups that will cost 1 euro. Whoever returns the glass in good condition will receive the money again.
Visitors who wish to do so can take the cup home and use it at other events promoted by the União de Freguesias de Faro.
The launch of these cups will take place this week, at Cheese, Wine and Sausages Fair which will take place from the 17th to the 21st of April, at Jardim Manuel Bivar.
