Bolt (ex-Taxify) arrives in Algarve

Platform arrives, for the first time, in the South of the country

The Bolt (formerly Taxify) passenger transport platform will arrive in the Algarve and is recruiting drivers.

Bolt will expand its area of ​​operation to reach, for the first time, the south of the country. Fleet managers (TVDE Operators) and drivers can now register online through the form on the platform website to start traveling with Bolt in the Algarve as soon as the official launch is made.

David Ferreira, responsible for Bolt in Portugal, says that, «after consolidating our presence in Lisbon, Porto and Braga, reaching the Algarve has always been one of our goals».

“This was the natural step to take, due to Bolt's gradual growth in Portugal and the potential that this region has, especially with the arrival of the summer months. the best conditions and the highest yield, compared to other competitors», he adds.

Thus, there is still no defined date for the launch of Bolt in the Algarve. Two platforms of this kind already operate in the region: Uber and Cabify.
