The corpse of a whale washed ashore this morning at Areias Brancas beach, in Vila Nova de Santo André, municipality of Santiago do Cacém.

As far as it was possible to ascertain, the whale is 19 meters long and is in a high state of decomposition. The Maritime Police of Sines was alerted shortly before 12 pm and is already on the spot.
