Humor and gastronomy will come together at the Vila do Bispo Cultural Center, on Sunday, in another session of the Cataplay performance, scheduled for 18:00.

This show explores the different dimensions of the cataplana, from the outset its originality and the fact that it is from the Algarve, but also its practical function, that of a utensil used to make widely appreciated dishes.

On stage, actors Mário Spencer and Tânia Silva talk, with great humor, about what this object is and speculate about its origins. In the end, everyone can taste a delicacy made, on the spot, in the cataplana, by the Tertúlia Algarvia team, which promotes the event with the support of the “365Algarve” program. Algarve wines are also served, to accompany.

Tickets for the show cost 10 euros for the general public and 8,5 euros for those under 30 and over 65. There is also a family ticket – two adults and a child between 6 and 12 years old – for 25 euros.

The tickets can be purchased online or, on the day of the show, at the Centro Cultural de Vila do Bispo, from 16 pm onwards.
