The Instituto Superior Manuel Teixeira Gomes (ISMAT), in Portimão, has added a new Master's Degree in Work Psychology and Occupational Health to its training offer.
"With this specialized training, Psychologists can contribute effectively in different work contexts, through the development and implementation of prevention and intervention strategies aimed at improving the well-being of workers and organizing healthier workplaces" , according to the Portuguese Higher Education Institution.
The faculty of the new Master's «is made up exclusively of PhD professors in various areas of Psychology, all with extensive teaching and professional experience, as well as research work carried out».
Students in this course «may participate in the activities of the Experimental Psychology Laboratory, Psychological Assessment Laboratory, Psychology Research Center and the Student Psychological Support Service (SAPE)».
This new offer comes after changing the curriculum structure of the study plan and the name of the 2nd cycle course in Occupational Health Psychology at ISMAT.
