The IV Half Marathon of Tavira takes place on October 21, at 10:00 am, and the organization wants to "do more and better" after the "success of previous editions".
This race, which starts and ends in Tavira, has a route that will pass through the coast, the barrocal and the mountains.
In addition to the two competitions of a competitive nature, the Half and Mini Marathons, with 21 and 12,5 kilometers, respectively, there will also be a solidarity march, with 7,5 kilometers.
Anyone can participate in this march for free, however, if you make a donation, in addition to receiving a t-shirt from the event, you will be helping the 100 de Tavira Group of the National Scouts Corps.
The money raised will help young people from Tavir to participate in the 24th Jamboree - World Scouting Meeting -, in July 2019, in the United States of America.
In the departure and arrival areas there will be entertainment for the little ones, a promotion area for products associated with athletics, as well as a health and wellness area, massages and medical care.
