Ana Cabecinha and Edna Barros, athletes from the Clube Oriental de Pechão (Olhão), are called up for the 20-kilometer walk, of the European Athletics Championship, to be held on August 11, at 8:05 am.
These Europeans take place in Berlin, Germany, from the 6th to the 12th of August.
The Algarve Athletics Association has already reacted to the news and says it is proud that, «once again, our association has athletes invited to a European competition».
The athlete Ana Cabecinha, remember, managed to get 6th place, in the 20 kilometers march, in the 2016 Olympic Games, in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).
