Portinado's team will compete in the final of the Portuguese U-18 Championship in water polo, after beating Clube Náutico Académico de Coimbra (CNAC) by 12-7, this Saturday, 16 June.
Afonso Prego was the highlighted athlete in that game, scoring four of the 12 goals of the Algarve team.
Portinado will face Sporting in the final, which will take place from the 13th to the 15th of July, at the Fluvial pool, in Porto.
The team from Leon beat Búzios by 36-6, before reaching the decisive game.
