José Casimiro, chairman of the Board of the General Meeting of Clube Naval de Portimão (CNP), called a meeting for tomorrow night, at 21 pm, with elements from the two lists competing for the elections and also other members of that social body.

The meeting was requested this evening by Tito Januário, current president of the CNP, after an informal club board meeting, to analyze the situation, after, on Saturday, the president of the AG Bureau decided to suspend the election, alleging "serious irregularities".

According to a statement from the CNP that has just been released, during this evening's informal meeting, “Tito Januário contacted the chairman of the General Assembly Board by telephone, asking him to schedule a meeting with representatives of the two candidate lists for the Club's governing bodies, to analyze and resolve the situation, as the matter is outside the jurisdiction of the management».
