The contemporary dance performance «Num Vale do Aqui», created, conceived and artistically directed by Daniel Matos, will debut on the 27th and return to the stage on the 28th of April, always at 21 pm, at the Centro Cultural de Lagos, in a production of TEL – Experimental Theater of Lagos.
With interpreters Adriana Xavier, Lia Vohlgemuth, Mélanie Ferreira, Rodrigo Lemos and Rodrigo Teixeira, the piece also includes musical composition by Daniel Matos and Nelson Nunes.
«You are going to break me consecutively in the hope of saving a piece, of strumming a thread, of revealing the shadow of your reflection in a crack of mine. My body doesn't know me, I never knew what I wanted to be. Never wanted you. Where I look I see pink mountains of grief grinding this path of the moment. Our souls are flooded with consecutive white weeping. The pale flowers of the navels wither in the beat of the sound of time, mirrored in the windows of this endless arch…
We came back together from different surfaces and you unraveled my body as an archeology of contours. I'm your place now.
Our bodies are not places, a landscape, a mirage through which they pass consecutively without realizing that we are not from here, that this space does not swallow us up, that belonging is really scarce. And if I inhabit you? Can I tell you that I am yours and that you are mine and that I belong inside of you?
Here is only mine while I'm here and I, I belong to the world and nobody.
In the ball, in space, in my square that I don't know if it's mine: how many times do we fit in a belonging that belongs to the throats of our eyes?"
